Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation celebrated on 13th November 2024

The High Commission of India celebrated 60th anniversary of India's flagship capacity building initiative (Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation) at Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Cultural Co-operation , Mt. Hope on November 13.
The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Senator the Honourable Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs, Senator the Honourable Allyson West, Minister of Public Administration and Mr. Rudranath Indarsingh, Member of Parliament for Couva South. The ITEC alumni of past years also joined the celebration.
The Government of India has allocated 85 slots annually for short-term training for the Government officials of Trinidad and Tobago in a wide range of areas.
The evening was filled with rich cultural performances, including a soulful vocal performance by Dr. Kamla Dhyani and a captivating dance performance by Mrs. Susan Mohip, leaving everyone in awe.
ITEC symbolizes the deep-rooted partnership between India and Trinidad & Tobago fostering mutual cooperation and growth.
